Creative Inspirations
The first annual Dubai International Poetry Festival is currently on, 4-10 March 2009. It celebrates Arabic poetry and promotes international understanding “through one of the most enduring literary forms”. The theme of the festival is A Thousand Poets, One Language. Events are organised around Dubai in venues including shopping centres, clubs, cultural centres, universities and theatres.
