Hand-written manuscript book with doll.

This artist’s book of medieval love spells and potions includes a ‘Spell doll’ and both are housed in a specially created conservation box. The contents are entirely hand-written and painted by myself, with text drawn from various literary resources. This book is one of the biggest projects I’ve undertaken so far as just writing the book by hand took a good two months. It received ‘Highly Commended’ award in 1996 in Paulig craft competition in Finland.
