Full-leather binding with blind tooling and tin onlays.

The book is bound in terracotta goat skin, has tin onlays and tooling in black ink. Edges are rough-gilt with platinum leaf. The book is housed in a wrapper box with similar decorative details and a leather tie for closing. This binding was exhibited in the Craft Museum of Finland in 2002-2003 as part of one of their permanent exhibitions called ‘Craft – The Touch of Life’.
