Most often I cover my bindings in leather but I also use deer parchment, sometimes wood or high-quality handmade papers. The visual and tactile feast of a fine binding always takes into consideration the functionality of the book and the binding complements the design of the printed book as a whole.
I bind books for the love of them, for multiplying the pleasure of reading and owning them, and just for sheer luxury - to share all this with those who own my bindings.
Each one-of-a-kind book requires a lot of time interpreting the theme of the book into a uniquely bound volume as well as many intensive days of meticulous work by hand. I only use the highest quality materials without compromise. Each binding is priced individually so it is best you contact me directly for a list of available books.
